Tangmarg, July 5, : Stating that there is a dire need to release political prisoners from jails across India Democratic Party Nationalist Chairman Ghulam Hasan Mir Thursday said muscular policy is not going to serve any purpose in Kashmir.
Talking to reporters on the sidelines of a public meeting at Kunzar area of his Tangmarg constituency, Mir said Government of India should adopt such a policy which could give breather to the youth of Valley. He said youth should feel safe and secure. “Using gun and muscles will only push youth to wall. Our youth has lost the will to live a dignified life instead they prefer death over life. There is need to rekindle the hope to live in our youth” Mir said.
Mir said the Governors rule has brought solace to the general public. He alleged that during the early government the functioning of institutions had become politicised because of which common people suffered a lot.
