Gangtok,Jul 7 ; Sikkim Chief Minister Pawan Chamling has greeted His Holiness the Dalai Lama on his birthday yesterday.
Chamling wished His Holiness ‘good health and long life.’ ‘May he continue to touch the lives of all sentinent beings with his teachings of love,compassion,peace and non- violence,” the chief minister
said.
The Tibetan community here celebrated Dalai lama’s birthday in the premises of Dorjee Gumpa in a grand manner.Cultural presentations were the main attraction of the programme.
