Budgam, July 7,: Chaiman PDF and MLA Khansahib Hakeem Mohammad Yaseen Monday said that he will not be a party to any coalition formation through horse trading.

Addressing a public meeting at Khansahib Budgam, Hakeem Yaseen said that due to political uncertainty in the state since 1947, the Governance and administrative set up in the state has been plagued with nepotism and corruption thereby making  life of common people miserable and  disillusioned.

“Good Governance has become first casualty of the long spell of political uncertainty in the state,” Hakeem said adding that Center did never respect mandate of the people of state.” Contrary to this,  puppet Governments, having no power or trust were installed to meet vested political interests, ” he said adding  that these toothless puppet Governments  worked only for their personal benefits leaving the common people in the lurch.

“The political anarchy, nepotism and corruption plagued every sphere of life resulting in prevailing public uprisings.  He hoped that Governor N N Vohra, by virtue of his past experiences, will be able to bring people of the state out of the grim situation prevailing in the state especially in Kashmir valley.

He said stopping bloodshed of civilians and restoring people’s faith on bureaucracy are the tough challenges before the Governor administration.

Hakeem Yaseen also demanded the release all political detenues languishing in jails  for years to win goodwill of the people. He asked the Governor to create congenial atmosphere  for confidence building measures between India and Pakistan to resolve all outstanding issues amicably through dialogue and reconciliation so that lasting peace in the state could be restored.
