New Delhi, July 10 Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the visiting South Korean President Moon Jae-in met here on Tuesday.
Both the leaders are holding delegation-level bilateral talks.
Earlier, on his arrival at the Rashtrapati Bhavan, the visiting dignitary was received by President Ram Nath Kovind, his wife Savita Kovind and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
“A special strategic partnership rooted in historical and cultural connect spanning centuries! President of Republic of Korea, Moon Jae-in was accorded a ceremonial welcome at Rashtrapati Bhavan by President Ram Nath Kovind and Prime Minister Modi,” MEA spokesman Raveesh Kumar tweeted.
President Moon, accompanied by wife, arrived in the national capital on Sunday. The visiting dignitaries
paid a visit to the Swaminarayan Akshardham Temple on Sunday evening.
On the second day of his visit on Monday, President Moon and Prime Minister Modi inaugurated a new mobile manufacturing unit of Samsung at Noida in Uttar Pradesh.
A number of agreements are also expected to be signed after delegation level talks between two sides.
Vice-President M Venkaiah Naidu will also call on President Moon.
