Srinagar: Clashes between protesters and government forces erupted in Reshipora village of Qaimoh area in south Kashmir’s Kulgam district Tuesday evening after forces cordoned off the village.
Forces cordoned off Reshipora area and started house to house searches, local sources said.
They said that soon after the search operation was started, the locals mostly youth took to streets and pelted forces with rocks who retaliated with tear smoke shelling triggering clashes. (Agencies)
