Kangan, Jul 18 : Two persons were injured after a passenger vehicle met with an accident on Srinagar-Leh highway at Sonamarg area on Wednesday.
Officials said that a vehicle bearing registration number: JK03-8046 hired by 46 BN of ITBP travelling from Baltal to Sonamarg skidded off from the road and turned turtle near fishpond Sonamarg resulting critical injuries to the driver and a conductor of the vehicle.
They said the injured were rushed to PHC Sonamarg where from criticality injured conductor Danish Nazir Sheikh (22) of Khanabal Anantnag was referred to SKIMS for specialized treatment.
Police have taken cognizance of the case, they added.
