Srinagar: Government forces on Monday launched a cordon and search operation (CASO) in a village in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district.
A posse of army men and the special operations group (SOG) of police laid a cordon around Kulhama village of the district this morning and started a search operation, witnesses told Kashmir Reader. The joint team, witnesses said were carrying out house to house searches suspecting presence of militants in the village.
