‘Alliance with BJP also sought protection of JK’ s special status’
Srinagar, Jul 27 : PDP on Friday said that it will fight political and as well as legal battle against the petition filed in the Supreme Court to challenge Article 35 A.
Talking to Kashmir News Service (KNS), PDP Chief Spokesman Rafi Ahmad Mir said ‘we are committed to fight a legal and as well as political battle for protecting article 35 A. We are chalking out a strategy for giving a final shape to the fight for protecting Article 35 A’. He also said that the main intent was forging an alliance with BJP was also protection of the special status of Jammu and Kashmir state.
He said that PDP also placed its view point at a round table conference called by a Civil Society Group KCSDS for protection of Article 35 A in Srinagar today. (KNS)
