Srinagar: Government forces on Thursday launched Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) in Zampekadal area of Chattabal in Srinagar.
Sources said that a large contingent of government forces including para-military troops and SOG personnel launched the CASO and started house to house searches.
Police are also asking for details of the residents and have asked the tenants to get registered with them. Locals told Kashmir Reader that police have asked them to inform them about any one putting up as tenants, while asking many of the tenants to fill up their information details with local police.
The searches were underway when reports last came in.
