Srinagar: National Conference patron Dr Farooq Abdullah on Thursday expressed concern over the deteriorating health of veteran BJP leader and former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee who is on life support system at the All India Institute of medical sciences (AIIMS) New Delhi.

Talking to reporters outside the AIIMS, the former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister said that Vajpayeeโ€™s condition was very serious. He urged people to pray that the ailing leader gets some relief.

โ€œToday, Indiaโ€™s biggest leader is preparing to leave us. I am very sad that heโ€™s leaving us all,โ€ a visibly upset Abdullah said.
