Srinagar: District administration Srinagar has denied permission to ReT teachers for assembling at Pratap Park on the day of Eid ul Azha, official sources said on Tuesday.
They said that restrictions under Section 144 Cr P C will remain imposed in the area on Eid (Wednesday).
As per official sources teachers have been “humbly requested” not to take law in their hands and “help law enforcement agencies”.
The decision in this regard has been conveyed to ReT Forum Chairman by the administration, official sources told Local Media.
Pertinently, ReT teachers have announced to hold a protest rally on Eid day in Pratap Park, Srinagar to press for their demands.
