Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir Civil Society Coordination Committee(JKCSCC) held an
emergency meeting regarding the listing of the case regarding Article 35 A in the
Supreme Court of India listed for week beginning 27 th of August 2018.
The information received from our team of Lawyers in the Supreme court has
informed us at 4.00 pm today ( 24 th August ) that the case regarding 35 A is not
listed in the main cause list issued by the Supreme Court registry .It is also
informed that regular supplementary cause list will be issued on 25 th August
evening so it is not clear yet that the case will come up on 27 th or not . It will be
clear only when the supplementary list of the Supreme Court is issued on 25 th
evening.
The JKCSCC also clears the confusion raised in certain quarters regarding the
defferment of the case filled by Smt.Vijay Lakshmi Pandit regarding Article 370in
the supreme court of India which has been deffered till September 2018 and this
case is not related in any way to the case regarding Article 35 A.
