Srinagar, Sep 4 (GNS): Lashkar-e-Taiba on Tuesday claimed responsibility of the grenade attack at Sangrahama, Sopore in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.

The spokesperson of the LeT, Dr Abdullah Ghaznavi said that the cadres of the outfit carried out the grenade attack at Sangrahama in which five CRPF troopers suffered injuries.

He said that the CRPF troops opened fire in retaliation resulting in injuries to a civilian.

Earlier, SSP Sopore Javid Iqbal said that three CRPF men and a civilian received splinter injuries after militants attacked paramilitary deployment.

The officer said that the forces have launched a hunt to nab the attackers.
