Srinagar: Unexploded shell recovered in Drang near Tosamaidan in central KashmirAn rusted shell was recovered from a field in Drang area of central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Sunday.
Bashir Ahmad Malik of Malik Mohalla Drang told GK that he found the shell when he went to his field to harvest walnut crop.
“I asked all my family members to return home to avoid an eventuality,” he said.
Malik said the shell might have been washed away by rains from Toasamaidan which served as the army’s firing range.
Tosamaidan is located around six kilometres from Drang village
