Srinagar: The dead body of Abdul Ahad Ganie, who was shot dead by unidentified gunmen on Monday evening, was handed over to his family on Tuesday for last rites.
The body was sent to Kupwara after police conducted post-mortem at the control room Srinagar, a police official told KR Tuesday
Ahad, a resident of Kupwara, was putting up at Srinagar residence at Mulfaq on the outskirts of Srinagar. He was married to a lecturer here.
