Pulwama: A youth was attacked and injured by a bear this afternoon in a village in Tral area of this south Kashmir district.

20-year-old Sartaj Ahmad son of Abdul Ahad Ganai was seriously injured when a bear attacked him outside his home in Gulshanpora village of Tral here this afternoon, official sources told Media.

The injured youth was instantly shifted to sub-district hospital Tral for treatment.

“The injured youth has sustained grave injuries. He is being treated upon,” BMO Tral, Dr Bashir Ahmad told Media.
