Srinagar: A semi-decomposed body of a person was found under mysterious circumstances in Mankote area of Poonch district.
Reports said that the semi-decomposed body of Makhdoom Ali son of Mohammad Sadeeq resident of Kas Blari of Bagiote area in tehsil Mankote of Poonch was Friday morning recovered from a field under mysterious circumstances. Ali was missing for last ten days.
Two bottles of poison, a match box and a mobile phone were recovered from the site where Ali’s body was recovered.
A police official said that the body of the deceased has been handed over to the family for last rites while a case under section 174 CRPC has been registered to ascertain the cause of the death.
