SC says ‘investigation in an advanced stage, case can’t be transferred to CBI’

Srinagar, Oct 05 : The counsel for Kathua rape victim Deepika Rajawat has termed the dismissal of a plea that sought a CBI probe into the case as her victory, saying “Today’s decision by the Supreme Court is a victory and we are heading for final victory.”
Talking to Kashmir News Service (KNS), Deepika Rajwat said “the Supreme Court Today dismissed the plea that was filed for CBI inquiry into the Kathua minor rape case on the grounds that the investigation has reached an advanced stage and the case can’t be referred to CBI.”
Advocate Deepika Rajawat said “Today’s Supreme Court decision is a victory for us and we are heading for final victory soon.” (KNS)
