NEW DELHI: At a public meeting in Rohini on Saturday, chief minister Arvind Kejriwal hit out at the BJP and urged the people not to vote for the Congress and said that every vote for Congress would strengthen the BJP

Besides holding the public meeting at Rohini, Kejriwal also interacted with members of different RWAs at Pandav Nagarin the evening.

To project AAP as the only alternative in Delhi, Kejriwal attacked both the BJP and the Congress. โ€œBJP and the RSS are tacitly supporting Congress to cut into AAP votes in order to win the Lok Sabha polls. People are fed up of BJP but at the same time donโ€™t want to vote for Rahul Gandhi and the corrupt Congress party; AAP is the only alternative in Delhi,โ€ he said.

Urging people to vote for AAP in LS polls, Kejriwal detailed the work of his government and flagged important schemes like door-step delivery of government services, subsidies on electricity and free water, better government schools, the roll-back of private schools fee hike, mohalla clinics, free medical tests and surgeries, among others.

โ€œThe seven BJP MPs have done nothing for Delhiites. The MPs used LG to scuttle projects of public welfare, but despite that, we fought for the people and delivered,โ€ Kejriwal said. โ€œIf we had seven MPs from Delhi, the Centre wouldnโ€™t have been able to hike the metro fares. We will not have let them unleash the sealing drive. I request you to strengthen the AAP and we will keep working for your welfare,โ€ the chief minister added.
