Mirwaiz hits back, says “such a senseless comment does not warrant a response”

Srinagar, Oct 25: Jammu and Kashmir Governor Satya Pal Malik today hit out at separatists and asked them to come forward for talks without Pakistan and accused them of not going to even toilets without taking consent from Pakistan. However the Hurriyat Conference (M) chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq hit back at Governor saying that “such senseless remarks don’t warrant a response.”
Talking to reporters after inaugurating Kashmir Autumn FAM Tour-2018, Governor Satya Pal Malik said “I talk to people of all shades of opinion as I have talked to Omar Abdullah, Mehbooba Mufti, M Y Tarigami and the likes besides individuals and civil society groups. I have not talked to Hurriyat leaders as they don’t go even to toilet without taking consent from Pakistan. I advise them to keep Pakistan out and come forward for talks.”
Reacting to Governor’s statement Hurriyat Conference (M) chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq told Kashmir News Service (KNS) that “such a senseless comment does not warrant a response.”
