Anantnag, Nov 15 : The Food Safety department Anantnag on Thursday organized one day awareness programme in Boys Degree College Anantnag Auditorium.
People from all walks of life participated in the programme.
Additional Deputy Commissioner, Parveez Sajad was Chief Guest while as Deputy Commissioner Food Safety, Hamidullah Dar Deputy Director FSSAL Delhi Preeti Ghosh, Incharge Principal Madam Dilruba, DIO Shopian, Gh Qadir, DIO Anantnag, Sheikh Zamir were among the prominent guests.
Speakers deliberated on the fact that healthy and quality food should be served to people and authorities must intervene to check the adulterated food in the market.
Madam Prethi Ghosh said everybody must spread the message to the nook and corner of state to eat health and live healthy.
“People who are hell bent to provide adulterated food to people must get discouraged,” she said.
