Srinagar, Nov 18: Two armymen were injured after exchange of firing took place in Larve area of Kakapora in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Sunday evening.
Reports reaching GNS said that two armymen were injured after militants and forces exchanged firing in Larve village.
A senior police official told GNS that a ambush was laid by the joint team of army and SOG in Larve today evening.
In the meantime, a group of militants who were passing through the area had a standoff with the forces, he said.
In the incident, the officer said that the two soldiers were injured and have been hospitalized where their condition is said to be stable.
Meanwhile whole area has been cordoned off to nab the fleeing militants he added.(GNS)
