Jammu: A delegation of Vishaw Hindu Parishad Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday submitted a memorandum with Governor Satya Pal Malik demanding that a law should be passed by the government of India for construction of Ram Mandir at the site of Babri Masjid in Ayodhya in Uttar Pradesh.

An official handout of Raj Bhawan said that the delegation comprising Leela Karan, Brig Suchet Singh, Rajesh Gupta; Dinesh Bharti ji; Hirdyanand ji; Rameshwar Dass Ji and others met Malik at the Raj Bhavan in Jammu on Tuesday.

It said the delegation submitted the memorandum on behalf of Hindus of J&K and Sant community for passing the law.
