Srinagar, Dec 6 Hitting out at Uttar Pradesh government, National Conference (NC) Vice President Omar Abdullah said those who kill policemen in Kashmir are called terrorists, but in Uttar Pradesh (UP) the ruling BJP will fete and eulogise these killers as heroes.

“In Kashmir people who kill cops and snatch weapons are called terrorists. In UP the ruling party will fete & eulogise these killers as heroes,” Mr Abdullah, who is the former chief minister of the state, wrote on micro-blogging site twitter.

Mr Abdullah also re-twitted a post from Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) president Mehbooba Mufti, which read, “Reprehensible and a grave cause of concern that other news outlets have chosen to ignore this story. Good to see you take this head on @Nidhi.”
