Baramulla, Dec 6 Pakistani troops again violated 2003 ceasefire on Thursday, targeting forward position near the Line of Control (LoC) in Uri sector, where two soldiers were wounded in shelling from across the border on Wednesday.

Pakistani troops resorted to indiscriminate and unprovoked shelling and firing from across the LoC, targeting forward posts at Kamalkote on the border.
Indian troops also retaliated and the exchange of intermittent fire continued throughout the night till this morning.

However, there was no report of any loss of life or damage to property, sources said, adding that loss suffered by other side of the LoC was not immediately clear.

On Wednesday, two Army soldiers identified as Sepoy Dupo Veshunath and Naik M Walim of 8 Rashtriya Rifles (RR) were injured when Pak troops resorted to firing in Uri sector.
