Srinagar: Aspirants who did not figure in KAS mains examination 2016 on Wednesday held a protest demonstration here in Srinagar demanding re-evaluation of their answer scripts.
Assembled in Pratap Park, they chanted slogans against J&K Public Service Commission. They said that there is an mass error in evaluation of thier papers.
Showkat Hussain Dar, one of the aspirants said it is because of the “flawed” evaluation system adopted by the Commission that they have been dropped.

“UPSC has not adopted such of kind of system for the exams. The scaling method which has also adopted by the Commission is arbitrary and does not reflect true merit,” Dar said.
The protesting aspirants requested the governor Satya Pal Malik to look into the matter and order for re-evaluation of their papers through any other agency such as UPSc

should be carried out manually and preferaly by the central merit watch dog UPSC
The protesters has threatened if their demands are not fulfilled, they will continue their protest till demands will fulfilled..
