Shopian, Dec 12: Deputy Commissioner Shopian Dr. Owais Ahmed today said that 34000 beneficiaries of District Shopian will get the benefit of Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (PMJAY)-Ayushman Bharat, Health insurance scheme in the district.
He said 10,000 beneficiaries have been registered till date and the rest will be covered under the scheme in due course of time. He appealed people to register themselves at nearest Health institutions, CSC centres and Khidmat centres.
The DC asked the Health Department and other concerned departments to conduct awareness camps at the village level, block level and tehsil levels so that every eligible person can be registered under the scheme.
