Srinagar, Dec 26 The former PDP leader, Raja Aijaz Ali who recently resigned from the basic membership of the party will join Peoples Conference (PC) today in Srinagar.
Former IGP Crime Raja Aijaz Ali contested 2014 assembly elections on PDP ticket from Uri assembly constituency but was defeated by NC candidate Mohammad Shafi Uri. He stood next to Congress candidate Taj Mohi-Ud-Din who was the nearest rival of NC’s Mohammad Shafi in Uri assembly constituency.
Confirming to KNS, Raja said that he will join PC today in Srinagar. Raja will join the party in presence of its chairman, Sajjad Gani Lone and other senior leaders.
