Sehrai pays tribute to slain Pulwama militant

Srinagar, Dec 28: Tehreek-e-Hurriyat Chairman, Mohd Ashraf Sehrai on Friday paid tributes to the slain militant who was killed in a shootout in Pulwama today.
Sehrai in a statement issued to KNS said, “Since past three decades, our nation while nourishing freedom movement and demanding right to self-determination, has presented huge sacrifices. The youth are sacrificing their precious lives to end the forcible control of their nation and we are duty bound to carry their mission to its logical conclusion.”
“The tyranny and oppression will not deter the people from continuing to peacefully pursue their struggle for right of self determination,” he said, adding that such tactics would not break the will and resolve of the resistance leadership and freedom-loving people.
Paying tributes to the slain Ishfaq Yousuf Wani, MBA Degree holder of Pulwama, Sehrai said, “The Kashmiri people were facing the worst kind of Indian state terrorism but despite that they would take their liberation movement to its logical conclusion.”
He said blood of innocent people has flown in Kashmir continuously and forces break all time records in Kashmir. “We have been deprived of freedom right instead India on the pretext of operation all out started genocide of oppressed Kashmiris,” he said.
Sehrai added that “these brave hearts including highly educated youth laying their lives to end this brutal slavery for their nation and it’s our religious and moral obligation to honour such sacrifices.”
“The inhuman and ruthless attitude by Indian forces is going on for the last 71 years and the loss of hundreds of thousands of precious lives is a blot on the Indian democracy and their local stooges, who are partners in this heinous crime and no conscious human can forgive them for this brutality and bloodshed,” he said.
“We salute these brave hearts who sacrificed their lives for the great cause and reiterated the Kashmiris’ resolve to continue Kashmir liberation movement till taking it to its logical conclusion,” he added.
“Kashmir is a political dispute and should be settled according to the will of Kashmiri people. The Indian forces are killing the people of Kashmir on daily basis and the world community and the international human rights organization should take notice of it,” he said.
Meanwhile, Sehrai has expressed deepest sorrow and shock over the sad demise of mother in law of Jammiat-e-Ahlehadees president and prayed for departed soul and strength to bear the irreparable loss.
