Jammu: A high level delegation of All J & K (+2) PSC Lecturers Association comprising of members from CEC and CWC held a week long interactions with apex level officers of the department.
The delegation met worthy Commissioner Secretary School Department on 26/12/2018 in his office chamber and held a detailed deliberations regarding issues viz. Status of ACP file, Placement of Lecturers as Sr. Lecturers, Restoration of HE quota, Abolishing of Inchargismm and filling up of vacant posts at different levels, revisit to SRO-202 in Education Gazetted cadre and NPS.
The delegation expressed deep concern over the stagnation at +2 level and requested the authorities to grant ACP/Running Grade to the cadre as given to other gazetted cadres in the state to boost the morale of the lecturers.
Later on, the delegation met other top level officers of the department including worthy DSEJ and DSEK and apprised them about problems being faced by the lecturers due to delay in providing the requisite information and updation of seniority lists. The officers were requested to furnish the required information in a time bound manner to the administrative department for speedy updation and redressal of the long pending grievances.
