Former Jammu and Kashmir chief minister Mehbooba Mufti on Tuesday batted for talks with militant leadership in Kashmir at an “appropriate time.”

In a tweet by a Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) leader, Syed Suhail Bukhari said

Mehbooba, according to a tweet by a Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) leader, Syed Suhail Bukhari, told reporters that the talks with militants at this juncture were not possible.

“@MehboobaMufti bats for talks with militant leadership at appropriate time. May be not at this juncture, but at an appropriate time even militant leadership should be talked to along with Pakistan and separatists, she told reporters in Anantnag, south Kashmir,” Bukhari tweeted.
