Srinagar, Jan 21: (GNS) The family of Sirajuddin Farooqi, the brother-in-law of PaK-based militant leader Mushtaq Zargar, has been seeking his whereabouts since he was picked up by BSF two and a half decades ago.

According to the family, Sirajuddin, resident of Safa Kadal, Srinagar, was picked up by Border Security Forces (BSF) during a nocturnal raid at his in-laws’ residence in Nowhatta area of Srinagar’s Old City on 22 January 1992.

“25 years have passed, we don’t even know whether he (Sirajuddin) is dead or alive,” the family while talking to a local news agency said.
