Iqbal is the son of former National Conference leader and MLA Rajouri, Aslam Khan

Secretary, District Legal Services Authority Rajouri, has resigned from the service and is likely to join National Conference.

Sources said sub-judge Muzaffar Iqbal Khan, a resident of Manjakote area of Rajouri, tendered his resignation on January 4 and forwarded it to Registrar General.

However, concerned authorities are yet to take a call on his resignation.

Iqbal is the son of former National Conference leader and MLA Rajouri, Aslam Khan.

Sources informed that Khan will soon join National Conference party.

When contacted, Iqbal Khan confirmed that he has resigned from the service. “…I have decided to join politics,” he said
