The protesters said the thieves looted goods worth lakhs of rupees from the shops of Bashir Ahmad Dar and Muzaffar Ahmad Dar near General bus stand Sopore.
Shopkeepers on Saturday staged a protest in Sopore town of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district against rising burglaries from past fifteen days.

The protest was held following the looting of two mobile phone stores in the town last night.
