Traffic movement on the vital bridge was stopped on January 29 for some necessary repairs. An official said the traffic movement was diverted via Manigam-Lar-Kheer Bhawani route in view of repair work.
After remaining closed for traffic for six consecutive days, Wayil bridge in Kangan area of central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district was thrown open for traffic on Monday, bringing much relief to the motorists and commuters.

Traffic movement on the vital bridge was stopped on January 29 for some necessary repairs. An official said the traffic movement was diverted via Manigam-Lar-Kheer Bhawani route in view of repair work.

After completion of the repair work, the bailey bridge was re-opened for traffic movement Sunday night, he said.
