Srinagar, 08 Feb 2019 (KPS): In another shocking incident a pregnant lady was carried on shoulders in Gujjar Basti Kanigham Area of Pulwama district.
One of the relative alleged that due to inadequate facilities at the hospital the Primary Health Centre (PHC) Rahmoo authorities referred them to District Hospital Pulwama . “Hospital authorities did not provide us with the ambulance. Had it not been for the humane nature of Driver association president Rahmoo ,Our patient would have died on the road,” Said relative while showering praises on the president who boarded the patient in his sumo.
Earlier the pregnant lady was carried on shoulders by relatives from Gujjar basti area of pulmawa to PSC rahmoo which is approximately 25 kms stretch.
The tall claims of Government in improvement of heath sector comes to naught as 5th incident within a month came to fore when a lady was carried on shoulders to hospital. (KPS)
