Srinagar, Feb 08 : Soon after the government orders creation of separate division to Ladakh, National Conference (NC) Vice President and former chief minister, Omar Abdullah on Friday reiterated party’s promise of granting divisional status to Chenab valley and Pir Panchal regions.
In a tweet, Omar said asked should the people of Jammu and Kashmir repose faith in NC after the elections of 2019.
“Our government will grant divisional status to Chenab valley and Pir Panchal regions as already laid out in our regional autonomy promise,” Omar said.
“After the elections of 2019 should the people of J&K repose faith in @JKNC_ our government will grant division status to Chenab valley & Pir Panchal regions as already laid out in our regional autonomy promise,” Omar tweeted.
