Srinagar, Feb 12 (KNS): Hizb-ul-Mujahideen of Tuesday paid tributes to slain militant, Hilal Ahmad who was killed in a gunfight today at South Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
In an e-mailed statement issued to KNS, Hizb spokesman Saleem Hashmi quoted the outfit chief, Syed Salah-ud-din said that “militants on hand are sacrificing their lives to achieve the goal (freedom) while as on the other, some people for their vested interests are playing the role of Mir Jaffar and Mir Sadiq.”
He also expressed grief over the demise of Grand Mufti Jammu and Kashmir, Mufti Bashir-ud-din, saying that Mufti besides being a religious scholar was freedom loving person.
