Srinagar: The government of India on Tuesday denied having found any connection between Islamic State Jammu and Kashmir (ISJK) and the terror groups operating inn Iraq and Syria.

Minister of state for Home Affairs, Hansraj Gangaram Ahir in a written reply to a question in the Lok Sabha said that that 7 local youths have joined ISJK through โ€œself-proclamationโ€.

โ€œOut of these 4 terrorists were neutralized on 22 June 2018 at Khiram Srigufawara in Anantnag. 2 were arrested and 1 is presently active in the valley,โ€ he said.
