‘Let Home Deptt clear, how can they withdraw when there is no security’
Srinagar, Feb 17 : Wife of separatist leader Shabir Shah, Dr Bilkees today clarified the “media propaganda”, saying Shah Sahab never had any security.
“I am married to Shah for the last 25 years. As far as I know he never accepted the security, though he was offered several times,” She told Kashmir News Service (KNS).
Quoting Shah, Dr Bilkees said Shah Sb believed that they are fighting against India, so there was no point in taking security cover for them. And he has mostly been in jail. What kind of security cover they are talking about,” She added.
She denounced linking Shah with leaders like Mirwaiz, Hashim Qureshi and Bilal Lone.
She asked Home Deptt to come clear on this instead of fanning a propaganda against Shabir Shah. (KNS)
