Srinagar, Feb 23 : Democratic Party Nationalist (DPN) president and former minister Ghulam Hassan Mir Saturday termed the arrest of Jamaat-e-Islami leaders in the Valley as ‘undemocratic’.
In a statement issued to KPS, Mir said arresting Jamaat leaders without rhyme and reasons is ‘undemocratic and atrocious’.
He said political expression and thought in the democratic country is the right of every individual and arresting the leaders for their political thoughts is unfortunate.
