Hajin, February 25: Government forces launched cordon and search operation (CASO) in Mir, Mohalla area of Hajin in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Monday morning.
Officials sources told KNO that 13 Rashtriya Rifles of Indian Army, and Special Operations Group of Jammu and Kashmir Police launched searches in Mir Mohalla area of Hajin town after receiving specific inputs about the presence of militants in the area.
“The heavy concentration of the forces was witnessed in the area and all the routes leading to Hajin had been sealed, and house to house search operation is going on,” sources said.(KNO)
