Srinagar, Feb 25: Authorities at Sher-e-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS) Monday said at least 23 deaths occurred due to Swine Flu at the institute till February 25, 2019.
Officials in SKIMS said 346 cases were positive till today and while 131 were admitted at the institute so far.
They informed that six among them are admitted at the SKIMS at present, adding that 23 persons also lost their lives due to the flu so far.
The officials said, โ€œThe institute is ready to tackle any kind of situation. The vaccination and other related medication to deal with H1N1 is also available at SKIMS.โ€
They also informed that as โ€˜precautionary measureโ€™, the employees were given vaccination.
