Srinagar, Mar 06 : A complete shutdown for the second consecutive day on Wednesday against the killing of two militants hit normal life in Tral area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
Reports reaching here said all the shops and business establishments remained shut in the area while passenger transport was off the roads.
Two Hizbul Mujahideen militants, Irfan Ahmad Rather alias Abu Talib from Sharifabad locality and Adfar Fayaz alias Abu Zarar of Gulshapora village of Tral, were killed in the gunfight.
People from different areas continued to visit the houses of the slain militants and offered prayers for them.
A two-story residential house was razed to ground during the gunfight and a civilian was also injured. (KNS)
