Srinagar, Mar 09 : National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Saturday issued summon to Hurriyat Conference (M) chairman, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Dr Syed Naseem Geelani, son of Hurriyat Conference (G) Chairman Syed Ali Geelani, asking them to appear before NIA court on Monday at New Delhi.
Earlier, NIA had conducted raids on the Nigeen residence of Mirwaiz here and took some gadgets and other things from his house, Mirwaiz had said in a statement.
Sources in Hurriyat (M) told KNS a notice was sent to Mirwaiz by the NIA today, asking him appear before NIA court on Monday at New Delhi.
They further said NIA has also sent a notice to Naseem Geelani and has asked him to appear before its court at New Delhi on Monday. (KNS)
