‘Using muscle power to muzzle voice of Kashmiris have always created negative results’
Srinagar, Mar 11 : Peoples Denocratic Party (PDP) leader Abdul Qayoom Wani on Monday condemned the harassment of religious and Hurriyat leaders particularly summoning of Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and arrest of Yasin Malik.
In a statement issued to KPS, Wani said that Mirwaiz is a religious and spiritual head of Jammu and Kashmir besides one of the famous religious and political leader of the world .
PDP leader said that muscle power is no solution to any problem and demanded immediate halt on harassment of religious leaders and revocation of ban on Jammat-e-Islami.
Wani also condemned the closure of jammat -e-islami office by the government and urged the authorities not to muzzle the voice of people of Kashmir by force.
