Sopore: Property worth lakhs of rupees has been destroyed in a devastating fire which broke out in a Chankan area of Sopore in north Kashmir in the wee hours of Wednesday.
Reports said that fire broke out at a residential house of Khazir Muhammad Malla in Chankhan area and within no time damaged five residential houses.
Fire tenders were rushed from different areas to control the leaping flames from spreading further. However, the cause of fire was being ascertained. (KPS)
