Kulgam, March 21 : Government forces on Thursday late afternoon launched a cordon and search operation in Ahmadabad village of Damhal Hanjipora in South Kashmir Kulgam district.
Sources told KNO that joint team of security forces including RR, special operation group (SOG)of jammu and Kashmir police and Crpf personnels Cordoned off the area.
Reports suggest that forces launched search operation after receiving specific inputs about the presence of militants in the area.
Sources said that Government forces sealed all entry and exit points leading to the area.
When the Report was filled Door to Door search operation was going on and so far no contact has been established with militants.( With Inputs From KNO)
