The India and Pakistan Armies on Friday exchanged gunfire along the Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch district.
An official said the two armies targeted each other’s positions in Krishna Ghati sector of the district at around 7:30 am.
He said many shells fired by Pakistan landed in Balnoi and other adjoining area of Poonch.
However, there was no immediate report of any loss of life or injury, the official said.
