Refutes news reports about his father’s death

Srinagar, Feb 12 (KNO): Naseem Geelani, the son of Hurriyat Conference (G) Chairman, Syed Ali Geelani on Wednesday refuted the news reports that the amalgam chief Syed Ali Geelani passed away this evening.

Geelani’s son Naseem Geelani told wire service—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that his father was stable. “Geelani sahab is stable,” he said.

Pertinently, the speculations were on rife that Geelani passed away.

The ailing leader’s health condition is deteriorated since past six months and he was admitted in SKIMS hospital recently.

The octogenarian leader is under house arrest since past ten years.
